Acer SA272U P1 27 Inch 2K 144Hz IPS Gaming Monitor
The Acer SA272U P1 is a 27-inch 2K gaming monitor designed for users who want sharper visuals, smoother gameplay and a modern ultra-slim design. It combines a 2560 × 1440 WQHD resolution, IPS panel, 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms VRB response time, making it suitable for gaming, productivity, multimedia and general creative work. Acer's official specifications also list AdaptiveSync, HDR10, 250 nits brightness, 178° viewing angles and 75 × 75mm VESA mounting.
27-Inch 2K WQHD IPS Display
The Acer SA272U P1 features a 27-inch WQHD IPS display with a native resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Compared with Full HD, the 2K QHD resolution provides more pixels and greater workspace, making fine details in games, images, documents and web content appear sharper. The IPS panel provides 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, helping maintain consistent image quality when viewed from different positions.
The monitor supports 16.7 million colors, a 250 nits brightness level and a 1,500:1 native contrast ratio according to Acer's UK technical specification. The official specification also lists 72% NTSC color gamut, making it appropriate for everyday productivity, gaming and entertainment.
144Hz Refresh Rate and 1ms VRB
With a 144Hz refresh rate, the SA272U P1 delivers smoother motion than conventional 60Hz displays. The higher refresh rate is especially useful for fast-paced games, scrolling, animations and other motion-heavy content. Acer specifies 144Hz support at 2560 × 1440 through both HDMI and DisplayPort.
The monitor also features a 1ms VRB response time, which is designed to improve motion clarity and reduce visible blur in fast-moving scenes. Combined with the 144Hz refresh rate, this makes the SA272U P1 a suitable choice for casual gaming as well as competitive titles where smoother motion is beneficial.
AdaptiveSync and HDR10
The Acer SA272U P1 supports AdaptiveSync, which helps synchronize the monitor's refresh rate with compatible graphics output to reduce screen tearing and stuttering. Acer also lists HDR10 support, providing compatibility with HDR content for supported games and multimedia.
For gaming, AdaptiveSync can provide a smoother experience when the GPU's frame rate fluctuates. Actual variable-refresh-rate compatibility depends on the graphics card, drivers and connection used.
Ultra-Slim ZeroFrame Design
The SA272U P1 is part of Acer's SA2 Ultra Slim monitor series and features a ZeroFrame design with an ultra-thin 7.2mm profile. Its slim appearance helps create a clean, contemporary desktop setup while the narrow bezel design is also useful for multi-monitor configurations.
The monitor supports -5° to 15° tilt adjustment and a 75 × 75mm VESA mounting pattern. It does not provide height adjustment according to Acer's technical specification, so users requiring an adjustable ergonomic setup may prefer a separate monitor arm.
HDMI and DisplayPort Connectivity
The SA272U P1 provides 1× HDMI 2.0 and 1× DisplayPort 1.4 according to Acer's official specification. Both interfaces support the monitor's 2560 × 1440 resolution at 144Hz, providing suitable connectivity for gaming PCs, laptops and compatible multimedia devices. It also includes audio input/output and a headphone connection.
Built-In Speakers
The SA272U P1 includes built-in speakers. Acer's official specification lists a 2W speaker output, while Bangladesh retailer listings describe the model as having dual built-in speakers. This provides convenient basic audio for videos, meetings and everyday multimedia without requiring separate speakers.
Eye-Care Features
The monitor includes Acer's Flicker-less, BlueLightShield, Low-dimming and ComfyView technologies. These features are intended to provide a more comfortable viewing experience during extended periods of computer use.
